Transportation Policy

The student will be picked up and dropped off based on the home address provided to the school. If a student is requiring an alternate pick up or drop off site, please provide a written request addressed to the school principal. Upon building approval, this will be submitted to transportation department. Give 72 hour notice for this type of request. If you missed a bus or your bus did not pick you up, contact Andy Thompson at (315)338-6550.

While being transported on any district bus, students should remain seated for the entire duration.

Students shall not exit the bus once they enter.

Busses are considered school property, therefore, the student code of conduct remains in effect. School bus behavior is taken very seriously. Progressive disciplinary action will be administered for any behavioral violations which may restrict your rights to ride the bus.

Bus Passes

Bus passes to ride a different bus will be issued on a case by case basis only. Students must present a note written by their parent/guardian before the end of the school day to the Office Secretary. The office secretary will confirm with parent/guardian the transportation change for the day, and then will issue the pass to the student. Requests to ride a different bus by a student at dismissal without a written note will not be allowed, as this holds up the departure time of buses.
